Title: The Changing face of Lloyd's / by David Wharrier

Notes: Sumario: Lloyd's has demonstrated to the world its ability to reshape itself into a viable market. It posted strong results for the 1995 account year and anticipates profits for 1996 and 1997. Lloyd's also is looking to expand its scope of business, most recently through new offices in Asia and by its deliberations on introducing captive insurers. During its transition to a market dominated by corporate sponsors, Lloyd's must tackle difficult issues, including how to incorporate a more flexible and competitive structure, while expanding its scope and reducing costs
