With the Christmas season now upon us, we are holding our solidarity market. With this market, once again this year we are witnessing the generosity of our collaborators and the passion of our volunteers and the hearts of all of Fundación MAPFRE who turn out to ensure that this initiative lends a voice and support to those most in need. We look forward to seeing you on 14 and 15 December. Come along.
Informing, supporting, getting funding, showcasing our causes, amplifying the message. To further our cause we believe it is essential to see us, to get to know us and to hear us. For this reason, every year we organize charitable events that should be a fixture in your diary. These include our concert and market: this is our chance to invite everyone who supports our projects directly, and even to get to know some of the associations and NGOs behind each cause. We're counting on you. Thank you for joining us.

After four years of organizing our Solidarity Market, we are going one step further by creating our own Feria Solidaria as part of Universal Children's Day, the huge event put together by the Autonomous Community of Madrid.
It represents a new challenge that we are facing with great enthusiasm.
In 2016, for the fourth year running, we held the Solidarity Market. This year, the slogan was “Share with the heart” and we managed to raise 30,000 euros.
This initiative was made possible thanks to the participation of MAPFRE volunteers and the collaboration, generosity and commitment of the foundations of Mahou, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Abracadabra, Rafa Nadal and suppliers who work with MAPFRE, who donated tangible items as well as their professional services for the organization of the event, which was held in Madrid last December.
The first solidarity concert organized by Fundación MAPFRE, held on 1 December 2016 in the Church of San Jerónimo el Real in Madrid, raised around 10,000 euros which were sent in their entirety to the Manos Unidas and Aldeas Infantiles associations.
These two organizations used these funds, raised from the sale of concert tickets and on-site donations, for two projects that share the common denominator of helping people with the fewest resources in society. Around 30 MAPFRE employees worked as volunteers in the organization of the event.
