The festival forms part of the FutbolNet program, which was introduced for the first time this year in Suzano in collaboration with Fundación MAPFRE and Fundação para o Desenvolvimento da Educação (FDE) of the state of Sao Paulo. The program offers educational methodology which aims to teach children and young people through the development of sound values passed on through the practice of sport.

More than 3,000 boys, girls and teenagers from 6-17 years of age in Brazil have benefited from this project. In addition, this methodology has recently been adopted by 15 public schools in Suzano, thereby reaching approximately more than 1,500 students.
