The Mano Amiga School recently held the “World full of charm and fantasy” activity, which counted with the presence of famous characters from well-known stories in Brazil like Emília. Through this activity, the students enjoyed the stories about the “Yellow Woodpecker”. In addition to this, school students learned how to prepare a recipe with the character Aunt Nastacia, who participated with them in a cooking class.

The Mano Amiga School considers education the best way to provide opportunities for a better future to children with little resources. With these activities, it aims to encourage reading and to improve the learning skills of children.

Within the activities´ program, the Mano Amiga School also included one about nutrition. The center pays special attention to the nutrition of the young ones, supervising and providing children with littleresources studying at the school with healthy food and teaching them the importance of food for their health.

In this context, the school held an activity with students of the first year of school, in which they shared a fruit salad made by themselves. A way to learn in a fun way and to transform the difficult situation of these children with few resources.
