The Asociación Ciudad del Niño de Panamá runs an educational project whose goal is to strengthen and raise the academic performance of children, young people and adolescents from low-income backgrounds, thus ensuring they remain within the school system and move up the grades, as well as helping them to develop personally and socially in line with their abilities.
Through the “Un Rayo de Luz para Cañazas y Ñurum” program, the Asociación Pro Niñez Panameña provides food, education, recreational activities and healthcare to 5,500 children from 75 educational centers in Cañazas and Ñurum in Panama.
The Voces Vitales de Panama association works to create and maintain opportunities for teenager mothers in the area of Corregimiento de Felipillo, Panama, with a program of integrated care benefitting 40 of these young women.
