La Fundación Alda has been working in the municipality of Guarambaré since 2009 with the aim of improving the quality of life of the boys and girls under the age of 14. This initiative seeks to strengthen society, providing a comprehensive education and covering all the basic needs of 130 children who find themselves in situations of extreme poverty, especially during their early years.
Direct attention is offered, both medical and educational, to children between the ages of two and fourteen. Training workshops are held with the mothers, fathers and tutors of these children so that they understand their role in the children’s development.
Fundación MAPFRE has collaborated on this project since 2012. Its involvement is aimed at improving the access of these children to basic foods, depending on their nutritional needs. In addition, it seeks to reinforce education and development from infancy with various programs directed at preventing school dropout.
The Fundacion Alda, constituted in 2003, works on transforming society in villages and vulnerable areas of Paraguay. It aspires to help improve the quality of life of girls, boys and young people in the communities in which it is present.
