The Eugenia Ravasco Day Care Center has been working for many years on the “Seeds of Hope” project through which it helps improve the living conditions of 300 needy people in the city of Parañaque, The Philippines.
The Republic of The Philippines is another country where Fundación MAPFRE is working. Specifically, it supports three projects on the Isla de Negros Occidental, and in the cities of Manila and Santa Cruz de Davao. This Asian archipelago is made up of 7,107 islands, inhabited by more than 100 million people. The cultural legacy of the peoples who have passed through the islands is reflected in the Spanish place names, the Catholic religion, and English, which is, together with Filipino, an official language of the country.
The Kalipay Negrense Foundation, Inc (KNFI) offers residential help to disadvantaged youth, from birth to 22 years old. The program focuses on medical care, social services and education for the boys and girls.
