The Hogar San Vicente de Paul Civil Association provides shelter to 60 women between 64 and 100 years old who are in an especially vulnerable situation. These are elderly women who lack financial resources and in some cases, even a home or a family, and who do not have the ability to fend for themselves.

The association carries out a program entitled, “What you do to one of these little ones, you do to me”, which counts on the support of Fundacion MAPFRE, by which it provides various services based on the health status or the needs of each woman. It mainly provides medical care to patients with diseases that require special care and medicines, and, by using a food service, it monitors and cares for the diet of all the women living in the center.

The Hogar San Vincente de Paul has an infirmary, a laundry, and a service called life groups which cares for elderly women who live in their own homes and who have no one to help them on a daily basis. Two employees travel to their homes to help them with everything they need, improving their quality of life.
