Dado que el factor humano es una de las principales causas de siniestralidad en las carreteras, los llamados sistemas ADAS por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) han llegado para ayudarnos. La DGT estim\u00f3 que si los coches estuvieran equipados con sistemas avanzados de ayuda a la conducci\u00f3n en Espa\u00f1a se evitar\u00eda el 57% de los siniestros o se mitigar\u00edan sus consecuencias significativamente.\/p>\n
Los ADAS han supuesto una verdadera revoluci\u00f3n en el mundo de la seguridad de los veh\u00edculos de motor\/strong>. Gracias a este conjunto de soluciones tecnol\u00f3gicas, aumenta la seguridad, se simplifica la conducci\u00f3n y se reduce la incidencia del factor humano. Los ADAS, incluso, pueden intervenir en la direcci\u00f3n y\/o los frenos del autom\u00f3vil para evitar una colisi\u00f3n o mitigar sus consecuencias y, adem\u00e1s, ofrecen informaci\u00f3n sobre situaciones de su entorno y alertan sobre situaciones de riesgo.\/p>\n
Ante la magnitud de sus beneficios, la UE ha determinado que, a partir de 2022, todos los veh\u00edculos nuevos deben incorporar de manera obligatoria algunos asistentes electr\u00f3nicos que protejan la seguridad de los conductores, ocupantes de los coches, de los peatones y dem\u00e1s usuarios de las v\u00edas p\u00fablicas.\/p>\n
