Seg\u00fan los\u00a0nuevos cambios\/strong>\u00a0aprobados por el\u00a0Real Decreto 667\/2015\/a>, de 17 de julio, el cual entr\u00f3 en vigor el 1 de octubre de 2015, los ni\u00f1os deben viajar en los autom\u00f3viles de la siguiente manera:\/p>\n
En los veh\u00edculos de hasta nueve plazas, incluido el conductor, los\u00a0ocupantes menores de edad con una estatura inferior o igual a 135 cm\/strong>\u00a0deber\u00e1n viajar en asientos traseros\/strong>, empleando un\u00a0sistema de retenci\u00f3n homologado\/strong>\u00a0adaptado a su talla y a su peso.\/p>\n
Se contemplan \u00fanicamente\u00a0tres excepciones\/strong>:\/p>\n
Adem\u00e1s, la nueva modificaci\u00f3n exige que su\u00a0utilizaci\u00f3n se realice de acuerdo a las especificaciones realizadas por el fabricante\/strong>\u00a0en el manual o folleto o cualquier publicaci\u00f3n relativa al modo de uso.\/p>\n
Adicionalmente, en caso de que ocupen los asientos delanteros y el veh\u00edculo disponga de airbag frontal, \u00fanicamente podr\u00e1n utilizar sistemas de retenci\u00f3n orientados hacia atr\u00e1s si el airbag ha sido desactivado.\/p>\n
En t\u00e9rminos de infracciones y sanciones, no instalar ni emplear los cinturones de seguridad y otros sistemas de retenci\u00f3n infantil se considerar\u00e1 infracci\u00f3n grave o muy grave.\/p>\n
NOTA IMPORTANTE: tanto desde Fundaci\u00f3n MAPFRE como desde la de DGT, se recomienda seguir utilizando el sistema de retenci\u00f3n infantil homologado a su peso y talla hasta que el menor alcance los 150 cm. Con m\u00e1s altura deber\u00e1 usar el cintur\u00f3n de seguridad del veh\u00edculo.\/strong>\/p>\n
