El frenado autónomo de emergencia AEB\/strong> (por sus siglas en inglés, Autonomous Emergency Brake) es un sistema avanzado de ayuda a la conducción\/strong> que gracias al empleo de cámaras, radares y diversos sensores, es capaz de detectar vehículos y objetos en nuestra trayectoria, que circulan a menor velocidad, parados e incluso peatones y en algunos casos ciclistas. Una vez detectados y cuando exista riesgo de colisión el sistema alertará al conductor del vehículo y en caso de inacción por parte de este, realizará un frenado de emergencia\/strong>.\/p>\n
Existen tres tipos en función de la velocidad en qué se activa el sistema y de lo que son capaces de detectar.\/p>\n
