Los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas 29 y 30 de noviembre y 1 de diciembre se celebra una nueva edici\u00f3n de Demos, el Foro de Fundaciones y Sociedad Civil, que, en su edici\u00f3n de 2021, se propone rescatar y reivindicar la palabra filantrop\u00eda\/strong> desde su original y amplia etimolog\u00eda: el amor al g\u00e9nero humano\/em>.\/p>\n
En el caso concreto de Banco de Alimentos, el voluntariado s\u00e9nior profesional es fundamental. En su estructura, la aportaci\u00f3n filantr\u00f3pica de profesionales jubilados\/strong> que han querido dedicar su talento a mejorar la vida de los dem\u00e1s, ha sido esencial para su desarrollo y crecimiento.\/p>\n
Pero el Banco de Alimentos no es el \u00fanico caso en el que el voluntariado s\u00e9nior se pone a disposici\u00f3n de las personas m\u00e1s vulnerables. Cada vez m\u00e1s profesionales, directivos y empresarios que han finalizado su actividad laboral o que, incluso, se encuentran en activo, desean, con esp\u00edritu altruista, ofrecer su experiencia y conocimientos en gesti\u00f3n empresarial o acad\u00e9mica a quienes m\u00e1s lo necesitan\/strong>.\/p>\n
El talento s\u00e9nior est\u00e1 comprometido con las causas sociales\/strong>. Del resto de la sociedad depende ofrecerles las oportunidades para que cumplan su objetivo de ayudar a los dem\u00e1s.\/p>\n
