Attracted to social groups and portions of society that did not conform to normative behaviors, in 1987 Paz Errázuriz sought to explore the world of boxing; a world understood as intrinsically masculine. She initially intended to begin her research at Club México in Santiago, but was rejected under the prejudicial pretense that women were not authorized to penetrate a male facility of such characteristics.

Ultimately, she was able to carry out her project by going to the Chilean Boxing Federation. The outcome of her numerous visits was a series of images of men whose vulnerable appearance makes the victory they aspire to achieve seem doubtful.
