Another step forward for Voluntare, a network that transforms

Although we were already part of the Voluntare community, with which we have been actively working to help develop corporate volunteering, today we have taken another step forward. Fundación Mapfre is now one of the 14 managing partners that chart the course of this network made up of more than 120 companies, social organizations, and academic institutions that believe it is possible to transform the world we live in.

In our new role as a managing partner, we are taking on the responsibility of promoting alliances, strengthening the professionalization of the sector, and helping to define the strategic lines that will shape the future of corporate volunteering at the international level.

Corporate volunteering is a key tool that connects companies, individuals, and social organizations with the aim of generating a social, environmental, and ethical impact on communities and society in general.

Many years ago, at Fundación Mapfre, we launched our Corporate Volunteering Program aimed at socially responsible companies that are aware of its transformative value.  Thanks to this initiative, each year thousands of people benefit from the solidarity of our volunteers. In 2025, nearly 12,000 volunteers from different companies took part in more than 2,600 volunteering activities in 24 countries, positively impacting the lives of more than 185,000 people.

Safe in the knowledge that we are on the right track, we are very proud to share our vision, goals, and efforts with Voluntare so that, together, we can make the world a better place.
