Initiatives to minimize the number of accident victims
The figures are extremely worrying; every year there are more than 400 deaths from drowning, over 170 people are killed in fires and explosions, and almost 1000 lives are lost in road traffic accidents.

We have to accept that human error is inevitable, but certain actions can be taken to help reduce the number of victims. To do so, it is essential to work on accident prevention.

Guide to enjoying the water in safety
We want you to enjoy yourself in the water safely! That is why we have produced a study and guide with recommendations for avoiding accidents and drownings in the aquatic marine environment, and this summer we are going to travel round the beaches of Spain’s coastline giving advice on bathing safely. Take care when having fun in the water!
