The “Rutas de Bienestar” (Pathways to Well-being) aims to improve the emotional well-being of people in rural areas of Aragon, Castile and León, and Murcia.

TARGET GROUP:

It mainly targets people in need of psychosocial care who live in rural areas that lack specialized resources.

DESCRIPTION OF INITIATIVE:

Multidisciplinary traveling teams offer physical, emotional, and social rehabilitation services through mobile units. The initiative combines group psychology, emotional management workshops, and personalized physical therapy. The routes cover regions of Huesca, Valladolid, Zamora, Segovia, and Murcia, characterized by a high degree of isolation and a lack of specialized resources. Priority is given to a rights-based and non-discriminatory approach, guaranteeing universal accessibility regardless of place of residence.

EXPECTED IMPACT:

The project is expected to directly benefit 600 people, improving their independence and reducing mild to moderate emotional distress. It is also expected to boost community cohesion by promoting mutual support networks that reduce social isolation.
