Project objectives:

The main goal of the ApoyandoT Rural+ project is to support and improve the physical, mental, emotional, social, and skill-based well-being of people who care for dependent individuals, both formally and informally, in rural areas of Castilla-La Mancha. To this end, it is developing a comprehensive model based on personalized guidance, adapted training, and the creation of support networks, incorporating a gender perspective and a regional approach.

Target group:

The project is aimed at caregivers in at least 50 rural locations in Castilla-La Mancha, primarily women and migrants between the ages of 40 and 65, both professional and non-professional caregivers, including caregiving families whether or not they receive benefits, unemployed people, those in the underground economy, and those employed in care services.

Expected improvements and impacts:

The project aims to improve the quality of life and emotional well-being of participants, reduce loneliness and isolation, strengthen their personal and professional skills, facilitate access to rights and resources, and generate a sustainable support network. The project also hopes to consolidate a replicable and scalable model of care intervention in rural areas.
