RURALVIVE: Community Care and Connection

Two women walk through a rural field; one is pushing a wheelbarrow while the other walk with her. Both are wearing warm clothing and are surrounded by nature.

The RURALVIVE project  develops community and family-based support and care services and actions in rural areas that promote equal access to services for vulnerable individuals, the exercise of their rights, and their ability to remain in their communities.

It is hoped that the beneficiaries will experience an improvement in their quality of life, as well as greater satisfaction and emotional well-being.

The project seeks to create local services that support greater autonomy (improving personal abilities) so that individuals can continue living in their homes and communities whenever possible.

The goal is also for the community and local people to become more involved in supporting the well-being of individuals with care needs, strengthening social ties and community cohesion.
