As a result of the selection process, Fundación Mapfre was awarded a total of 6,000,000 euros in grants to six beneficiary organisations so that they can develop their operations. These operations were distributed across the specific objectives of the call with 3,608,000 euros earmarked for actions related to socio-labour itineraries aimed at vulnerable people and 2,392,000 euros going to measures that will facilitate access to social and healthcare services. The territorial scope of action was focused on rural areas in 13 of Spain’s Autonomous Communities.

Action Against Hunger Foundation

Aimed at unemployed people with social and workplace insertion difficulties. The project was promote education and training in agroecology, regenerative agriculture, the circular economy, sustainable tourism, renewable energies and care communities, encouraging the adoption of sustainable practices and the development of skills necessary for employment and social and collaborative entrepreneurship for social and workplace integration.

The project was carried out in Navarre, Galicia and Castile-La Mancha.

Aimed at vulnerable women with social and workplace integration difficulties. The project focused on developing transversal employment skills, digital competencies and those necessary for the ecological transition.

The initiative was developed in Madrid, Castile and Leon, Castile-La Mancha, Andalusia and Extremadura.

The project was implemented in Aragon, Castile and Leon, Murcia, Andalusia, Castile-La Mancha and Extremadura. The project brought together experts, professionals, families and stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluate specific interventions in the natural context, digital tools, and training strategies that enable better access to healthcare and social services and an improved quality of life index.

This initiative was implemented in Catalonia, Galicia, Murcia, Valencia, Castile and Leon, Castile-La Mancha and Andalusia.

Its objective is to improve the social and workplace insertion of vulnerable people by implementing integrated itineraries of social and workplace insertion. It also awareness-raising activities for the employment of vulnerable population groups and actions to enhance the skills and attitudes necessary to develop traditional trades in the rural areas concerned, in the service of new jobs, combining tradition with the future.

It was carried out in Madrid, Castile and Leon and Castile-La Mancha.

Aimed at elderly people at risk of exclusion. The project aimed to improve the quality of life of older people in their aging process by increasing their personal autonomy, strengthening their participation in the community, increasing their knowledge of and accessibility to resources, and supporting them in the generation and maintenance of social networks.

It was implemented in Aragon, La Rioja, Asturias, Castile and Leon, Murcia, Andalusia, Castile-La Mancha and Extremadura.
