Every year 186, 300 children worldwide die as a result of traffic accidents, more than 500 per day. According to the calculations of the World Health Organization, child restraint systems (CRS) reduce the probability of a fatal accident by between 54% and 80% for the youngest children and approximately 70% for babies, as they avoid impact against other passengers and objects in the vehicle.
