The KBr Flama project was launched with the clear goal of raising the profile of the youngest talent from Barcelona’s photography schools. To this end, the KBr Fundación MAPFRE photography center enjoys vital support from Grisart, Idep Barcelona, IEFC and Elisava, Barcelona’s Faculty of Design and Engineering, four academic institutions committed to teaching and studying photography. The exhibition KBr Flama 22 was the second edition of this project and presented the works of Nanouch Congost (Girona, 1999), Guillermo Fernández (Granada, 1991), Jordi Miquel Riera (Girona, 1977) and Sílvia Parés (Vic, 1997). The judging panel involved in the viewing and selection process for this edition was made up of Horacio Fernández, Carles Guerra, Joana Hurtado and Arianna Rinaldo. This catalog compiles their work, which was exhibited at our photography center in Barcelona from October 5, 2022 to January 15, 2023.
