This catalog includes a wide selection of works representative of all the subjects that make up the exhibition Mathieu Pernot. Document – Monument. It includes Melilla, a series of photographs taken by the artist at the end of 2022, commissioned by Fundación MAPFRE for this exhibition. It also includes an interview with the artist by Victoria del Val, curator of the project, as well as critical essays by specialists in migration and photographic studies, Ilsen About and Ernst Van Alphen, and photography historian Luce Lebart. Images of the artist not present in the show, along with others, accompany these texts.
