When the future is lost on the road
On World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, we pay tribute to the lives and talents lost

Road Safety
Each year, the world’s roads claim more than a million young lives, their talents, their ideas, their hugs, their joy… Millions of moments and stories that we will never have the opportunity to know or experience.
That is why, on November 16, World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, we pay tribute to all those lives lost, as well as those that have been scarred forever.
The decisions we make on the road have consequences. Respecting the rules, avoiding distractions, and being cautious are not just empty gestures, they are acts of shared responsibility. Every time we hit the road, every time we use public highways, we have the opportunity to protect our most valuable possession: life.
On World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, we invite you to join us in a collective reflection to prevent more lives and talents from being lost on the roads. Being aware of how we move around, how we drive, and how to protect others is the first step toward a future that includes all of us.
