Sharing the same name as the exhibition, the catalog Portraits offers an expanded version of the show with nearly three hundred further images on the same topic selected from core works within the collection. The publication is supported by contributions from distinguished authors such as Antonio Muñoz Molina, who reflects on the nature of the portrait, and Geoff Dyer who centers his thoughts on the subject around specific artists. This attractive publication is rounded off by texts written by the Foundation’s photography curator, Carlos Gollonet and some comprehensive biographies of the featured artists by Carlos Martín.
