Cell phones, tiredness, drowsiness and distractions at the wheel

The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of cell phone use and fatigue on driving by measuring the brain and physiological activity of drivers subjected to an experimental situation. It uses a driving simulator that reproduces real traffic situations on streets and highways, to determine how fatigue and phone use affect the degree of attention at the wheel, driving errors and infractions, and even fuel consumption.
