We work towards a more inclusive society
The Republic of Chile is located in a narrow strip of land 4,270 kilometers long and a maximum width of 445 kilometers between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains. The country has rates of economic growth, quality of life, human development and GDP per capita that place it among the highest in Latin America. We collaborate in the implementation of projects that help the Chilean society.
Back to school programs and social and labor market inclusion for students suffering from chronic diseases
Thanks to this project, with the collaboration of the Casa de la Amistad, children and their families can benefit from full support and educational assistance in order for students who are suffering from chronic diseases to be able to go to class.
The Fundación Padre Semería welcomes children into their homes who have been abused and abandoned by their families and offers them shelter, the care they need in order to recover physically and emotionally and, above all, education to help them aspire to a better future.
The “School Reinsertion Program for sick students”, run by the Fundación Nuestros Hijos offers children with cancer in Santiago de Chile comprehensive, quality rehabilitation through a multidisciplinary team.
A total of 72 boys, girls and young people up to 18 years old take part in this “Educational Support” project, in which the Fundación Padre Semería offers support classes to help against academic failure.
