Current Project

In many schools in Cali, Colombia, thousands of children pass through to higher levels without having consolidated fundamental skills such as reading, writing, or basic math. This situation, which is exacerbated when poverty enters the picture, affects their academic performance, self-esteem, and future opportunities.

To respond to this challenge, we joined forces with Fundación Carvajal through the Alliance for Quality Education with Equality (Classrooms of Opportunity) project, an initiative that seeks to improve school development in 35 public schools in vulnerable communities in Cali.

Through the Global Classroom strategy, the project offers small-group tutoring in language and mathematics for students with the greatest difficulties; training and pedagogical support for teachers; teaching materials adapted to their needs; and workshops with families to reinforce study habits at home.

This alliance will benefit 10,000 students and 400 teachers, helping to close learning gaps and pave the way for quality education with equality.
