William Eggleston

Widely regarded as one of the fathers of colour photography, having achieved recognition of this medium as a permissible artistic expression in art galleries and museums in the 1970s, William Eggleston (Memphis, 1939) is one of the most influential names in contemporary photography.

The William Eggleston exhibition, produced by Fundación MAPFRE and C/O Berlin Foundation, was accompanied by this 208-page catalog. It presents the work of this photographer, one of the most influential artists on the current art scene, accompanied by essays from Felix Hoffmann, Jörg Sasse and Thomas Weski.
