From Leonora Carrington’s magical journey to contemporary metropolises

Historical exhibitions 2023

The suggestive pictorial universe of Leonora Carrington dominates this year’s Fine Arts program, which also includes a broad tour of the work of Medardo Rosso, the Italian artist who anticipated the evolution of contemporary sculpture. In Photography, the contemporary city is present in Facundo de Zuviría‘s nostalgic evocation and Anastasia Samoylova‘s reflection on its aesthetic identity. The opportunity to get to know the work of the American Louis Stettner and the inquisitive look at current affairs by the French Mathieu Pernot completed the program in Madrid. In our KBr center in Barcelona, along with the annual appointment with the Schools of Photography (KBr Flama), three exceptional exhibitions could be seen: those dedicated to Ilse Bing, Tina Modotti and William Eggleston.
