Children with special needs

There are children whose physical and mental differences require greater attention to ensure their safety in a vehicle.

Home > Education and outreach > Road Safety Programs > Child Restraint Systems (CRS) > Safe travel with children > Children with special needs

All children are special, but some are more so than others because of their personal physical and mental differences, which is why they need extra attention to ensure their comfort and safety. As with any other child, there is no excuse for not using an appropriate child restraint system.
