“Return to beauty”. Masterpieces of Italian art from between the wars

Fundación MAPFRE has published a scientific catalog in Spanish and Italian that reproduces all the works in the exhibition and includes essays by the exhibition curators, Daniela Ferrari, the curator of the MART, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto, and Beatrice Avanzi, the curator of the Musée d’Orsay; texts by Pablo Jiménez Burillo, director of the Culture Department of Fundación MAPFRE, and Leyre Bozal, the curator of the Collections of Fundación MAPFRE. The catalog aims to provide a reference work on the painting of the 1920s and 1930s in Italy and Europe. The book contains a biographical appendix of the 28 artists featured in the exhibition and a bibliography.
