With the work of Pérez Siquier, one of the most powerful and important figures in Spanish photography in recent decades, in Barcelona and the sober and intense images of Richard Learoyd in Madrid, we reaffirmed our commitment to photography, culminating in an exhibition of the American social landscape by Lee Friedlander. Madrid's Sala Recoletos was given over to Auguste Rodin and Alberto Giacometti, two sculptors who, despite being more than a generation apart, provide parallels and disparities that are revealed for the first time in a joint exhibition.
