The Inspire Organization has rolled out this educational project which focuses on teaching through the senses. Through multi-sensory spaces people with learning difficulties will be trained through the development of each one of their senses, accompanied by a person who will be with them throughout the entire process.
This country, made up of the islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino and other uninhabited islets, is the smallest in the European Union. With less than half a million inhabitants, it is also the most densely populated. Its strategic location in the middle of the Mediterranean has meant that throughout its history it has been dominated by Aragonese, French and British forces.
The Inspire Foundation has developed various multi-sensory spaces at its facilities in Marsascala with which it offers those with special needs a place to learn through sensory stimulation.
The Equal Partners Foundation works in Malta to help disabled youth. The project provides support to 184 disabled children and young people and their families, to enable them to take control of their lives.
The Equal Partners Foundation is working on the “Enabling Handicapped Children and Young People” project with 241 beneficiaries and their families, so that they can take their own decisions and the control their lives.
