Fundación ALDA is running a project to improve the developmental levels of children from 2 to 4 years old in three settlements in Guambaré, Paraguay.

Fundación MAPFRE has been collaborating on this project which has benefited 150 underprivileged people since 2012.

Through direct support for children, training for the children's parents and guardians and through strengthening civil society, the project aims to increase access to basic foods and to offer high-quality education and training from early infancy, with programs designed to prevent early school dropout and through the creation of a protective environment for children.

The project's overall aim is to help contribute to improving the quality of life of the children and young people at the Guambaré Community Care Center which has been operating since 2009.
