With a marked indigenous character, both Spanish and Guaraní are considered official languages and almost all of its seven million inhabitants can speak both.
In an environment of extreme poverty, children are the ones who suffer the most. Fundación ALDA ooffers an education to children in vulnerable circumstances in San Miguel de Guarambaré, Paraguay, and improvements in eating habits for the whole community in order to enhance their overall development.

The Fundación de Ayuda al Niño/a y Adolescente con Cáncer y Leucemia (foundation for children and adolescents with cancer and leukemia) (ASOLEU) operates the Hogar Solí project through which it offers accommodation, education and psychological care to patients and their families.
