The Pan y Amor Association provides young people of few resources with a quality education complemented by a balanced diet and medical and psychological care, allowing them to successfully access the work force.
Nicaragua is a tropical, volcanic country of Central America. In addition to boasting coastlines on both the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans, there are two spectacular great lakes in the country’s interior. During the 1980’s the country was the site of a bloody civil war, although since 1990 it has enjoyed relative stability and economic development. The project which Fundación MAPFRE is carrying out benefits 450 people in the capital city of Managua.
The Pan y Amor Association provides, through the school of the same name, a quality education, a balanced diet, medical and psychological attention and vocational guidance to 450 children and young people in situations of social exclusion.
