Portrait / Self-portrait around the works of Richard Learoyd
Capture with your camera the emotional attitude of a person who lives with you or take a self-portrait
In his portraits, Richard Learoyd takes the research of a figure one step further by looking for an element of emotion in each of his models. His characters are not presented as a specific portrait of a woman or a man, but on occasions as examples of emotional states.
This week’s proposal consists of taking a photograph of the same person for several days at different times until achieving the pose, gesture and emotional attitude you are looking for, just as Richard Learoyd did.
