The Manuel Fernandez Juncos Children’s House, with the support of Fundación MAPFRE, is carrying out the program known as “Scholarships for Education and Comprehensive Development of Children whose Rights have been Violated.” This project supports young boys and girls, adolescents and young people, enabling them to attend schools with a safe learning environment.

The objective of this program is that the beneficiaries improve their academic performance and aim for better aptitudes and skills. The beneficiaries--both boys and girls-- receive training to develop their cognitive processes, to strengthen their social/family relationships, and to achieve academic qualifications.

The Manuel Fernández Juncos Children’s House is a home for boys, girls, adolescents and young people between 8 and 18 years of age.  The program looks after those who have been abandoned by their parents or who suffered abuse at home.

For nearly a century, since 1924, the Manuel Fernández Juncos Children’s Home has been carrying out valuable work on behalf of the most disadvantaged children and youth of Puerto Rico.
