Reclaim the kitchen as a place of learning and fun. It doesn't matter if you are not the best cook in the world, with chef Dani García's help you can prepare simple recipes with your children, enjoy cooking together and learn how to eat healthily.

Our daily routine tends to involve hurrying around, and this also influences what we eat and our family routines. Planning all the family's food can be quite a chore and we tend to plan out the lunches and dinners however we can, without really thinking about our children's health or enjoying the moment. We have lost the habit of getting together around the stove and talking while we are cooking.

Practicooking wants you to reclaim the kitchen as a healthy space where all the family can get together. These simple recipes and food tips will help your children discover a fascinating world of smells and flavors which lie behind the preparation of each dish. This initiative was created by Fundación MAPFRE and Fundación Dani García in order to demonstrate that cooking together and preparing healthy and tasty meals is easier than you might think.

Every two weeks our chef Dani García will propose a different dish. With each video they are easy to put into practice. Each recipe contains full information on ingredients, allergens, its difficulty level and the suitable age of the children who can prepare it. In addition, with the Practicooking Fridge you will learn to organize your pantry so that your meals, although prepared last minute, are healthy and delicious.

Welcome your young children into the kitchen. Not only will they familiarize themselves with all types of healthy products but it will also reinforce the development of their learning and abilities. Moreover, spending time together will tighten family bonds and raise their confidence and self-esteem.
