Fundación Alda, with the support of Fundación MAPFRE, is working to improve the development of boys and girls from 2 to 14 years old in 3 settlements in the City of Guarambé in Paraguay.
This initiative is based at the Community Attention Center (CAC) and is directed at those communities with few resources. It is designed to be a tool to deal with inadequate development of the child population.
Direct attention is offered to the children through Early Years and Creative Education. Comprehensive care in development, care and protection make a difference in the work with the beneficiaries, by reducing inequalities, improving health and nutrition, and preventing possible problems in their development and academic performance.
Work is carried out educating the mothers, fathers and guardians of these children and on strengthening of civil society and on empowering citizens to demand their rights.
Fundacion Alda, constituted in 2003, works on transforming society in villages and vulnerable areas of Paraguay. It aspires to help improve the quality of life of girls, boys and young people in the communities in which it is present.
