The Vidas, Servicios Episcopales, Inc. association carries out, with the collaboration of the Fundación MAPFRE, the Hogar Albergue San Miguel project which takes in 14 young people, in vulnerable situations offering them a family environment as well as physical and emotional care.

The center helps children with their studies through the work of a certified teacher who gives them support to achieve good academic results. Moreover, they receive school supplies, transportation and extracurricular cultural, recreational or sports activities as a complement to their regular school activities.

The children come from broken families where they have been abused and from schools where they have fallen behind in their studies. To counteract the negative effects of their experiences, Hogar Albergue San Miguel develops dynamics of integration into society, instilling in the children the obligations, values and the importance of education in their lives.
