Together we can make the world a better place
At Fundación MAPFRE we strive to make things better, so that society becomes fairer and more balanced. We know that we are not alone in this task, but that we share this same objective with many people and organizations that are dedicated to making this world a better place. This recognition is addressed to all of them every year.
In the 2025 edition of the Social Outreach Awards we will present the following prizes:
- The José Manuel Martínez Martínez Lifetime Achievement Award.
- Award for the Entity with the Best Track Record in Social Causes.
- Award for the Project or Initiative with the Best Social Impact.
In this edition, we will also be presenting the 12th Julio Castelo Matrán International Insurance Award (held every two years), which highlights scientific projects that promote insurance culture and social protection. It has its own rules, which you can view here.

We recognize individuals who are outstanding in their professional careers and who also dedicate time and effort to supporting charitable causes.
We are looking for organizations that carry out notable actions with a major social impact, in one of the areas in which Fundación MAPFRE develops its activities.
We are rewarding a significant project or initiative which has been a game changer, in terms of its societal impact, in one of our areas of activity.
We focus on scientific work to grant recognition for its contribution to the development of Insurance and Social Protection.
