FANA, Foundation for the Support of Abandoned Children, entity with which Fundación MAPFRE works in Bogota, celebrated its 43 Anniversary dedicating itself to the integral protection of children. Since 1971, this Foundation has been hosting and protecting minors to be able to ensure their rights through sponsorship programs. Since then, more than 14,000 children have received direct assistance from the Foundation and, out of them, 10,000 already have a family and what is more important, the chance for a better future.

To celebrate this important day, the Foundation organised a party in which children were the real stars and were able to enjoy a puppet show, airbeds, balloons and music.

In addition, several adoptive parents traveled from Paris to celebrate this special moment with the little ones. The celebration ended with a lunch that gathered the founders, volunteers and directors of the Foundation.

Fundación MAPFRE focuses its support on the maintenance of a facility that currently hosts 14 children who will be sponsored in the future. It also provides the academic center with school material and physical and hearing therapies to meet the specific needs of each and every one of them.

From here we would like to join and congratulate FANA on its anniversary. Cheers to another 43 years protecting the rights of the most vulnerable children. Congratulations!
