The “Learn without Fear” project carried out by the Brazilian International Plan with the support of Fundación MAPFRE, aims to achieve school and community environments free of bullying and gender inequality, promoting a peaceful culture on school premises.
The project will be implemented in 18 schools where there have been cases of bullying and which display an unfavorable educational environment. The objective is to promote a culture of respect for human dignity and solidarity.
To develop this, a practical guide has been published for the students, teachers and staff. The guide was developed based on the experience of 10 other schools with their own successful project.
Brazilian International Plan has existed since 1937 and is currently present in 69 countries. Its aim is to improve the lives of children and their communities in the long term. More than 1.5 million children worldwide have received help from this NGO.
