The “Crianças e Adolescentes” project of the Liga das Senhoras Católicas de São Paulo association, in collaboration with Fundación MAPFRE, looks after 500 children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 14 years old and at risk of social exclusion, living in the district of Raposo Tavares, in the city of São Paulo.
The main objective of this project is to contribute to the comprehensive training of the children and adolescents to achieve their effective integration as citizens with full rights. To achieve this, numerous after-school activities of a cultural, artistic or sporting nature are made available.
The Liga Solidária, founded in 1923 as La Liga das Senhoras Católicas de São Paulo, is implementing nine education and citizenship programs in the city of São Paulo. This institution benefits nearly 10,000 people a year— children, adolescents and adults.
