The Movimiento Pró-Criança, in conjunction with Fundación MAPFRE, has rolled out this Promoción de los derechos de los niños, adolescentes y jóvenes con calidad de vida project, in order to maintain good access to nutrition and health for beneficiaries in the Recife area of Brazil.

The goal of the project is to provide young people with access to a balanced and safe diet, helping to bring about changes in their eating habits and providing them with information on health and education which therefore raises their awareness of these matters.

The idea of this project is to establish daily diet guidelines, in order to create a routine for the beneficiaries; the project also seeks to establish a bond with families who serve as the main intermediaries and are responsible for conveying a culture of healthy eating.

Founded in 1993, the Movimento Pró-Criança is an organization linked to the Olinda and Recife Archdiocese which seeks to promote the citizens' rights of children, teenagers and young people in at-risk situations or who have been abandoned, as well as providing opportunities for their social inclusion through education.
